Locations
San Francisco Ferry Building, CA
Located at the historic San Francisco Ferry Building and carrying our complete line of wares, this showroom's 500 square feet pack quite a punch. Each location showcases our dinnerware, tile, and homeware products from like-minded designer/makers around the United States (and beyond). And, like any family, each kid, err, we mean showroom, goes about it in their own way:
SINCE 2010

Friends & Family
Begun in the Bay Area by a husband and wife team in 1948 and continued in the Bay Area by a husband and wife team in 2003, Heath Ceramics is clearly a Bay Area family affair, which is probably why we’ve felt right at home within the historic San Francisco Ferry Building community.
In fact, some of our neighbors — The Slanted Door and the Hog Island Oyster Bar, to name a couple — serve on Heath dinnerware. Across the street, at Cowgirl Creamery, check out our newest tile line, Dwell Patterns, while sampling some seriously delicious cheese. Oh, and tell them we say hi!

History + Location = A Perfect Match
Located within the historic San Francisco Ferry Building at the foot of Market Street, the Ferry Building Marketplace has become a celebration of San Francisco’s vibrant past and culinary-rich present. “We’ve always wanted to be more accessible to our San Francisco customer, and this is the perfect match,” says Heath Ceramics Creative Director and co-owner Catherine Bailey.
But of course, if our little San Francisco outpost leaves you wanting, we've coordinated our weekend factory tours with the ferry schedule. Hop on, enjoy a ride across the water to Sausalito, visit our Factory Showroom, hop back on the ferry and end up right back where you started, only a couple of hours later.

Commune
Our Ferry Building space was designed by our favorite Los Angeles design firm Commune (they are also responsible for Heath Los Angeles and San Francisco). And while the shop is only about 500 square feet, when you visit us we think you’ll understand just why they’re our favorite. The showroom is flexible, adaptable and versatile, and we know Edith would approve.
So the next time you’re in town, make the historic Ferry Building part of the day’s agenda. We are located next door to the delicious desserts at Miette and across from locally roasted Blue Bottle Coffee. We'll have an offering of our complete line of wares freshly picked and delivered across the bay each week.
