Heath LA | Postponed
*A note from the Heath Ceramics team on Friday, March 13, 2020
We must do what we never wanted to do: postpone this Meet and Greet event at the LA Clay Studio. We were so looking forward to welcoming you, showing off the studio, and honoring its talent, but health takes priority. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the State of California’s most recent guidelines on social distancing, we’re putting our plans on hold until we’re confident it’s the right time to celebrate—social distancing is no fun at intimate gatherings.
We’re disappointed, as we’re sure you are—this is all very distressing. We’ll be in touch in due course with future plans. The throw will go on (someday).
Take good care,
The Heath Ceramics team
Join us for an inspiring afternoon of creativity and craft behind the scenes at Heath LA—Clay Studio doors are officially open, and we invite you in for throwing demos and a sneak peek at new forms and pieces. Meet our team of makers—together from San Francisco and Los Angeles—and see new experiments and explorations, including our newest pitcher design.
The Heath Clay Studio
brings together designing and making under one roof—not just in theory, but in practice. We explore new ideas, take creative risks, get our hands dirty, and let ourselves dream a little. Stepping inside, you'll find everything from glaze tests to new product exploration, and collaborations with artists, restaurants, and designers we admire.
Explore the Studio at work and meet Jay and Rie Dion, who lead the Los Angeles Clay Studio under the direction of Tung Chiang. It's sure to be an inspiring afternoon of creativity and craft behind the scenes as we celebrate the past, present, and future of the LA Clay Studio.Count me in →
