In 1789 in the mining town of Røros, a mine director bequeathed his fortune to a foundation providing education and raw materials in textile production to the poor. Through this, a tradition for handicraft was sustained, and the foundation for Røros Tweed was born.
This season’s palette harkens back to the early days of Heath: wholesome and rich primaries against a dry, earthy backdrop. Vintage, yet bright and grounded. This collection has no primary color — each glaze enjoys the company of its counterparts in creating a muted, wintery grouping.
