This delightful set of vessels references nesting vases that have been made in the Heath Clay Studio for some years now. Here the set it made miniature. The Design Series is an opportunity for Clay Studio Director Tung Chiang to create a collection of objects exploring a singular idea or theme every year. The ideas have ranged from shapes like candleholders, concepts like “Forming Fables” or techniques like glaze chemistry. To make this set of pieces Tung took the opportunity to revisit the ideas of Design Series past to create a retrospective of brand new pieces.
