Did You Know?
Sea and Sand first debuted at the San Francisco Museum of Art in Summer 1949 for their exhibition Design in the Patio.
Iconic to Heath since 1949 and remastered for this season’s collection, its process highlights the magic of glaze interaction — Sand is sprayed over Hematite, a dark metallic grey, causing gradation in color from desert sand to misty green.
