Tea Pot with Bamboo Handle

Studio Prepa is a two-person workshop that designs and produces a variety of beautiful, handmade glassware. This Teapot perfectly captures their playful, experimental way with glass and their clean, modern aesthetic. The handle is made from carefully bent and varnished bamboo, which can be removed for cleaning. It also includes a fine, removable metal coil that fits inside the spout and acts as a filter for tea leaves.

Run by Japanese duo Katsuhisa and Mizuho Hira, Studio Prepa produces everything in their small studio workshop in Japan’s Nagano Prefecture. Working in this small setting allows them to better focus on the finer details and experiment with their glass blowing techniques.
