San Francisco, CA
Our newest retail space, in the urban core of San Francisco. You'll find everything Heath: dinnerware, tableware, tile and good designs for the tabletop and home. We have an honest to goodness retail and tile showroom, plus a gallery space, viewing court and Blue Bottle Coffee cafe. And, at the center of all of this activity is our new factory, where we produce our Heath tile daily.
THE NEW KID ON THE BLOCK
See How We Make Things
In the heart of San Francisco’s Northeast Mission neighborhood, and at the center of a creative campus that houses our Heath retail showroom, Blue Bottle Coffee kiosk and viewing court area, is our tile factory. You can get a sneak peek of the workings from various points in the building, but you shouldn’t miss the full factory tour in person.
Tour sizes are limited to 15, so an advance rsvp is needed by selecting a date and time below. Walk-ins are welcome if there is room.
Can't join us in person? Our tile virtual tour is the next best thing.
Please note: When visiting our factories, you'll need to wear closed toe shoes and safety glasses provided. Our general factory tours are appropriate for children 5 years and older with adult supervision. Smaller children being held by an adult is not suitable as this is a working factory environment.
A New Way of Seeing (and thinking about) Heath Tile
Get inspired for your next project with our tile inspiration wall (rotating tile boards in various shapes & colors!); by exploring our tile bar; or stopping in to say hello to our Tile Manager. Also be on the lookout for tile installations throughout the space (kitchen, reading nook and the coffee area, to name a few!)

Our Retail Showroom
A former linen supply and laundry with good bones and great natural light is now a warm, inviting showroom space where you will find everything Heath. A Chef's Kitchen area features our cookbook and food favorites, and a gallery space is home to various shows and events throughout the year.

Our San Francisco showroom is in full bloom with the addition of La Fleuriste, local purveyor of beautiful and sustainable blossoms. Visitors will find La Fleuriste's sweet stall in front of our showroom every Thursday through Sunday from 12–6 pm. Stop by and pick up some fresh arrangements, whether you're shopping for a last minute hostess gift or sprucing up your home.

It takes a lot of people and many hours of collaboration and idea gathering to create a space like Heath San Francisco. Thanks to Charles Hemminger, project architect from Hemminger Architects in San Francisco, for taking the good bones and natural light of the space and turning it into the store, factory and gathering space it is and will become. Thanks also to the team at Commune, who have been true partners, working seamlessly with us over the years to create an authentic and honest look and feel to our newest space, as well as our Los Angeles and Ferry Building spaces.

Boiler Room: Selected Works

Boiler Room: Selected Works presents an eclectic group of artists working in the intersection of art, craft, and design. Featuring pieces by Brendan Monroe, Butch Anthony, Rinne Allen, Stan Bitters, and Tung Chiang, the show brings together some of our favorite artists and collaborators from the Boiler Room. Large-scale, abstract sculptures by Stan sit alongside one-of-a-kind lamps by Tung and Brendan’s ceramic sculptures. Admire Stan’s remarkable ceramic murals side by side with hypnotic paintings by Brendan, Butch’s genre-bending collages, and Rinne Allen’s lyrical photography.
Discover something wonderful in the Boiler Room at Heath SF and take it home.
