Summer 2010
Our 2010 limited edition Summer Collection combines classic shapes with glazes inspired by the vibrancy of the season. The overlay of two glazes, aqua and zest yellow, results in a three-color pattern known as ocean pacific. The two-part dipping technique used on this season’s platter, bowls and bulb vase has been explored at Heath for many years. Each glaze interaction yields new results – the possibilities are endless. The intersection of aqua and zest yellow resembles the horizon line of a summer meadow – the inspiration palette for the 2010 Summer Collection.
The four hand-dipped pieces are being offered alongside a few items from our standard line. The entire collection was designed to celebrate the newest addition to our Plaza line – aqua, as well as the many new aqua accessories available in our dinnerware collection.
Our Seasonal Collection is created in limited runs, which gives us the chance to explore new colors, techniques and ideas without altering our standard line - offered in a limited edition run, available April 1, 2010 - until supplies last (approximately October 1, 2010).
