Creative Communications Manager
Full time, San Francisco Factory & Showroom

Heath’s end goals are always: to maximize creativity and be open to creative opportunities, be interesting, and build our community with uncompromising values. The Creative Communications Manager has the opportunity to work backwards from there by being an integral part of Heath’s creative team. This is a highly creative and hands-on role. This role manages and helps create Heath’s communication approach and yearly calendar of relevant and interesting undertakings and sets about putting them into place, company wide. This includes traditional press, untraditional press, social media, and events in-store/out-store.

Full-Time, San Francisco Factory & Showroom

When the customer receives their package this is the start of their Heath experience and there is only one chance to make the right first impression. The packing should look professional, neat, and not overpacked. The box should be easy to open and the products should be easily accessible. Boxes should also be easy to lift, by both the packer and the customer. All packing materials should also be recyclable. Most importantly, a package should arrive to the customer with the correct items that are not broken or damaged in any way.

We have a unique space called the Heath Newsstand in our San Francisco location. It is an evolving concept space that enables Heath to interact with the Mission community on dynamic levels. The Heath Newsstand is a separate yet intrinsically connected part of the Heath showroom experience in SF.

Showroom Sales Supervisor

The Supervisor supports the Showroom management team at our Ferry Building location particularly in the areas of customer service, in preparing the store for business each day, closing procedures and stock handling. This role sits between the sales team and the manager and should represent to the sales associates the highest example in all areas of the sales associate role.

Working at Heath means appreciating that selecting dinnerware can be very emotional, as it represents family, friendship, tradition and important gatherings. As a Sales Associate at Heath, you will help shoppers understand all the options, colors, shapes and sizes that Heath offers, as well as the way the registries work. You will balance excellent customer service with the demands of a busy store environment.

Second Shift Dinnerware Glazer
Full Time, Sausalito Factory

The Glazing Generalist is responsible for applying glaze to all dinnerware pieces in preparation for firing. Training will begin by learning the basics; safety procedures, spray equipment operation, glaze preparation, centering ware on the wheel and reading work orders. Glazing will then begin with spraying simple flat shapes and bowls. Dinnerware glazing requires consistent and precise work. Glaze needs to be applied in the right amount and uniformly.
