An event space like you’ve never seen. When we moved into our San Francisco Factory building, we inherited 2 iron boilers, originally used on a warship. We may not need to boil vast amounts of water, but we think they're pretty great regardless. Now, they're the centerpiece of this great space we’ve set aside for cultural and creative events. It’s all about seeing what happens when we turn up the heat on inspiration.
Under One Roof
This show, held from October 24 – November 2, 2014, features the work of the Heath Collective, a group of talented artisan makers who have studios at Heath's San Francisco building. Curated by Heath's Tung Chiang (our San Francisco Heath Clay Studio director), the show includes work and collaborations from the team at Aesthetic Union (letterpress and more); jewelry makers Liz Oppenheim and Julia Turner; artisan textile and apparel makers Small Trade Company; textile artist Llane Alexis; handwoven apparel and textile maker Voices of Industry; and Olli, which makes luxurious, handmade home accessories.
Our opening celebration: October 24, 2014 from 6–8 pm.
Stan Bitters, Modern Primitive
We were honored to host Stan Bitters: Modern Primitive, a show celebrating the life and work of Stan Bitters, maverick modernist of the ceramic medium. The show included work old and new, ranging from his monumental murals to his smaller iconic pieces, including birdhouses, lanterns, thumb pots, and medallions. All work is available for purchase.
See more of Stan's work and process on our blog.

A New Place for Events
We know there’s a certain kind of magic that happens when you bring people together. Ideas shift. Relationships form. Energy builds. Big things start to take shape.
We’re so lucky to have this amazing space in San Francisco and to have the ability to bring people together, show great work, and inspire creativity.
We’re committed to bringing together people and perspectives, from the design of the factory itself which lets the community see our manufacturing process to The Collective at Heath (a group of like-minded makers with studios in the building).
Who knows what great things will happen? Stay tuned.
