Making the Room: Robert McKinley
Over the past few years, we’ve enjoyed an inspiring creative friendship with interior designer Robert McKinley through his ongoing project, the McKinley Bungalows. Out on the farthest stretch of Long Island in the beach town of Montauk, McKinley has been designing homes that play with the relationship between traditional coastal architecture and modern interior style. McKinley and his team recently completed their fifth home, Seaview, a cedar clad cottage on the water that exudes casual sophistication, from the wrap-around porch to the elegantly striped tile bathrooms.
