Known for his extensive collection of vintage craft and folk art objects, Takahiro Goko brings his vintage finds to Playmountain East. Takahiro’s exhibition—a curation of objects beloved and familiar across different regions of the country—uniquely reflects sensibilities and aesthetics deeply connected to the climate and Japan’s four seasons.
The Boiler Room is a place to find and connect with one-of-a-kind creations by artists whose work, stories, and values inspire us. As part of Playmountain East, a year-long exploration of the work and processes of Japanese and Japanese-influenced artists and markers, we’re thrilled to host Takahiro Goko and his collection, as he shares these special things with a larger audience.
Stop in, say hello, shop, and enjoy!
