Introducing
Circle, Triangle, Rectangle, a new Clay Studio show at Heath San Francisco.
Oriented around a family of simple geometric forms,
Circle, Triangle, Rectangle reflects Clay Studio Director Tung Chiang's ongoing exploration of the relationship between art, craft, and design using Heath's clay and glazes.
In keeping with the exploratory spirit of the new show, form and scale vary widely from piece to piece. You’ll find smaller sculptures, functional containers, and a collection of larger works (including two tall vases that pay homage to our San Francisco factory’s chimneys). The variety is deliberate, demonstrating that even the simplest shapes can lead to surprising results.
The show and sale begin at the Heath San Francisco gallery space on September 16. On September 17, join us for an opening celebration, where Tung will be in conversation with Kelsey Keith, Creative Director at MillerKnoll, about the collection and the future of craft. Kelsey served as brand creative director for Herman Miller, where she led its first rebrand in 25 years and played an instrumental role in
Heath’s most recent collaboration.
This collection will be available for purchase in-person only, starting September 16.
