#56 Canister in Indigo with Yellow Lid

4.3" H, 3.9" dia.

This canister features a simple hourglass form carved with parallel lines. The lid and rim are decroated with a bright yellow slip. After bisque firing Akio applies colored slips and then glazes the pieces with translucent matte glaze. Beautiful to see and incredible to hold.
