Alexandra Table Runner in Indigo

This runner is meticulously handwoven by skilled artisans in cotton and jute. The resulting natural coarseness gives these placemats a durable texture. The fibers are dyed using real indigo in a deep rich tone complementing the Summer Seasonal collection. They're Perfect for daily use, intimate gatherings, and low key entertaining. Handle with care. Dry clean recommended. In case you would like to hand wash, soak it in cold water with a mild soap. Rinse well, and let it dry on top of a towel. Air dry flat so the piece does not lose its shape. Do not wring the piece at any point in the process. In case of wrings or wavy edges, iron under a towel. Do not use any chemical product, to prevent colors from fading. In case of stains, clean right away by dabbing with a wet cloth. For oil stains, cover the stain with baby powder (talc), and let it absorb the oil before washing it. Do not machine dry.

Madda Studio works hard to reduce waste and reuse as many materials as possible in their process. This includes making dye from collecting marigolds from altars after the celebration of Dia de Los Muertos in November to using leftover yarn to make rugs.
