This form plays with the shapes of Heath’s classic bowl shapes, yet it contains a surprise. The large saucer resembles a shallow serving bowl in profile but gains lift from a foot beneath it. Inside, the clay rises to form a secondary container that holds the smaller planter bowl, and keeps water from pooling on the larger surface. — Tung Chiang

This piece was photographed with a Ficus palmier plant. If you select Curbside Pickup during checkout, your piece will be presented to you with a plant inside of it—either the one photographed or something similar. Curbside Pickup is available at our San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sausalito locations. Orders marked to ship will not include a plant.

There is a small drainage hole in the bottom of the planter.
Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth. If necessary use a mild, non-acidic, non-abrasive dish detergent.
This piece may scratch wood or other soft surfaces when placed.
