Plants are symbol of strength for me. They grow in small sidewalk cracks, in impossible places, everywhere you look. This form is about showcasing the determination of the plant. The interior planter is hidden within a taller exterior pot. As the plant grows from inside, it reaches over the outer rim seeking light. The center of the inner bowl has a red clay handle for easy removal and care. — Tung Chiang

This piece was photographed with a Jewel Alocasia plant. If you select Curbside Pickup during checkout, your piece will be presented to you with a plant inside of it—either the one photographed or something similar. Curbside Pickup is available at our San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sausalito locations. Orders marked to ship will not include a plant.

There are 4 small drainage holes in the bottom of the planter.
Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth. If necessary use a mild, non-acidic, non-abrasive dish detergent.
This piece may scratch wood or other soft surfaces when placed.
