Design Series Seven: Bold Interpretation
Announcing Design Series Seven, the result of a year-long exploration into a single subject by the mind and hands of Heath Clay Studio Director, Tung Chiang. This year, a stunning collection of bowls, formed on the wheel. Centered on an object’s two-dimensionality, giving way to three, these bowls celebrate the confines of the circle and the line.
At its core, Design Series represents the future of Heath’s design language — an apprenticeship with clay as the teacher. This year, focusing on the beauty and form of the bowl, we learn its limits and its vast opportunity. We hope to see you there!
