Join Heath Clay Studio Director Tung Chiang at Oakland Museum of California for a fireside chat with Drew Johnson, OMCA’s Curator of Photography and Visual Culture and co-curator of the Edith Heath exhibition.
A design innovator actively evolving Heath’s legacy, Tung has established the Heath Clay Studio over the past decade as the hub within Heath Ceramics for experimenting with form, technique, and glaze.
Tung will share insights and stories from his practice as a studio potter, his international collaborations, and his long career in design. And he’ll share his own deep connection to Edith Heath’s legacy, and his role as an artist at Heath Ceramics.
Come listen with the OMCA community, and bring questions for Tung and Drew. Sunday, July 10 from 2-3pm in the James Moore Theater.
