Tall Cylinder Burner in Wood/Satin Brass

The Tall Cylinder Burner has three stacking layers—a base for storage of cone or spiral incense, a middle layer with an incense holder and ash catch, and a cover to conceal the burning incense and ash with an opening for release of smoke. The agave holder in the middle layer allows the incense to properly burn, as oxygen can make its way all around and beneath the incense. The three slots between the middle and cover layer allow air in and the domed interior of the cover directs the smoke to the opening in the top.

Avoid touching the burner during or just after use, as the surfaces may become hot while incense is burning and for a short time after. Clean with a soft cloth and polish as needed. With time and use, your incense burner will develop a beautiful patina. This burner was designed to work best with cone or spiral incense. Do not burn incense unsupervised.

The Tall Cylinder Burner packaging consists of a traditional Japanese cloth and a wooden box intended for reuse. There are an infinite number of ways the box and cloth can be used. The cloth gets better with age—it can be washed in cold water and hung to dry.
