High quality, beautiful design, intended for everyday use — and built to last. Darto's pans are made of 100% laminated iron, creating a sturdy seamless design with no welds or rivets. Oven safe and works on all stovetops, including induction. To prevent rust during shipping each pan is coated in a thin layer of flaxseed oil, which may become discolored or sticky. However, fear not! When you receive the pan wash it with soap and water to remove the oil then proceed with your favorite seasoning method.

To prevent rust during shipping each pan is coated in a thin layer of linseed oil, which may become discolored or sticky. However, fear not! When you receive the pan wash it with soap and water to remove the oil then proceed with your favorite seasoning method.

Before and after each use, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the cooking surface. Preheat the pan slowly before adding food. Hand wash pan with hot water and a stiff nylon brush; don’t use soap or harsh detergents. Dry thoroughly.

The best way to season your pan is to cook with it. Over time it will become evenly seasoned and black. If you want to quicken the process, we recommend putting some drops of cooking oil and spread thinly with a paper towel all over the pan. Put the pan over the stove at high heat for ten minutes. After the pan cools completely, repeat the process three more times.
