December 2–3, 2023
Mark your calendars! Make Good Market is back in San Francisco. Come kick off the holiday season with a design-loving community and an incredible group of makers. It’s the perfect place to mark off your holiday gift list while supporting small businesses.
This year, we’re lighting up our entire SF Mission space! Lots of happenings at Make Good Market across our San Francisco tile factory, Showroom, and the Boiler Room.
The tile factory will play host to over 25 special guests and vendors — old and new — with a wide array of goods including home textiles and furniture, apparel, jewelry, glassware, and art. The Heath Clay Studio will be bustling with demos and workshops in the Boiler Room, and the Showroom stocked with all the holiday gifts and goodies galore. The two-day event will include live demonstrations by our ceramicists and partners, including live lavender distillation, wreath-making, loom-weaving, and so much more. Our neighbor, The Aesthetic Union will have hands-on demos using their hand-cranked presses, with a takeaway print from these available for purchase.
As always, our market will feature complimentary gift-wrapping, and we’re excited to partner with
Off the Grid’s fleet of food and drink trucks to keep your bellies full and your hands warm!
By buying your gifts at Make Good Market, you’re supporting local manufacturing, independent craft, and environmentally responsible shopping. Whether you bring the whole family, gather some friends, or plan a holidate with your special someone, join us for a day of holiday cheer and activity.
Heath Clay Studio Bud Vase Workshops
We're so excited to introduce a fun and interactive element to this year's Make Good Market!
To commemorate the new Boiler Room space, we're hosting Bud Vase Workshops all weekend long. Bring a friend and glaze your own bud vase with a glaze specialist from our Clay Studio team. It's the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one!
Sign up for a workshopIf you can, register early! However, if a workshop is sold out, don't fret. There will be a limited number of tickets available for day-of walk-ins.
Supporting the SF-Marin Food Bank
We're excited to continue our partnership with the
San Francisco–Marin Food Bank! The San Francisco–Marin Food Bank’s mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin, where even before the pandemic, one in five neighbors was at risk of hunger. We envision a community where everyone has access to nutritious food of their choosing and is uplifted by a network of support.
This event is free, but we will be welcoming donations as part of a fundraising effort to support the SF-Marin Food Bank. Each $5 donation becomes 10 meals served to food insecure families in the Bay Area.
